The African American Heritage Committee of the Ocoee Region invites you to explore the story of Dr. Sarah Grant. Associate Professor of History at Cleveland State Community College, Bryan Reed, will share his research and answer questions about the life of Dr. Sarah Grant. Born enslaved in 1846 Sarah Grant lived to the year 1929, earning her emancipation and a doctor's license in the meantime.
